Finance Director
Job Description
The Finance Director will lead and oversee the Group’s financial management function, including the holding company and its subsidiaries. The role is responsible for developing and implementing the financial strategy, managing financial planning and budgeting processes, overseeing financial reporting, treasury and cash flow management, cost control, and strengthening financial governance and compliance to support the achievement of the Group’s objectives and long-term financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement the Group’s financial strategy, oversee annual budgeting processes, financial plans, and monitor their execution.
• Prepare financial forecasts, analyze financial performance, and provide reports and recommendations to executive management to support decision-making.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and consolidated financial reports for the Group, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Manage treasury operations, and oversee cash flows, working capital, and banking relationships.
• Monitor and analyze costs, optimize spending, and maximize the effective utilization of financial resources and investments.
• Oversee accounting operations, implement internal financial controls, and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, policies, and legislation.
• Supervise the financial aspects of procurement activities, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and financial policies, and participate in the financial evaluation and selection of suppliers.
• Oversee financial and commercial contracts, monitor contract execution, and ensure compliance with contractual terms, including payment schedules and obligations, to protect the Group’s interests.
• Lead financial risk management activities, coordinate with internal and external auditors, and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Supervise finance departments across the holding company and subsidiaries, standardize financial policies and procedures, and ensure consolidated Group reporting.
• Support operations through oversight of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial performance analysis of operational activities.
• Lead initiatives to develop financial systems and procedures, improve financial process efficiency, enhance digital transformation, and optimize the use of financial systems.
• Perform any other duties related to the nature of the role as assigned by executive management.
Required Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or any related field.
• A postgraduate qualification (master’s degree) or an internationally recognized professional certification in finance or accounting is considered an added advantage.
Experience
• 8–10 years of professional experience in financial management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience working within a holding company or group structure with multiple subsidiaries, including consolidated financial reporting and oversight of subsidiary finance functions.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, treasury management, cost management, financial reporting, and financial compliance.
Skills and Competencies
• Strategic leadership and business thinking.
• Strong financial analysis and financial performance management skills.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Practical experience using Odoo ERP system.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication, team management, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage priorities and drive continuous improvement.

Cluster General Manager-Hotels
Job Description
The Cluster General Manager-Hotels position is within the Lailac Business Services & Investors Company, a subsidiary of Durwa Holding Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the operational activities of the Group’s hotels, ensuring the delivery of high-quality hospitality services, enhancing operational and financial performance, achieving revenue and profitability objectives, ensuring compliance with quality, health, and safety standards, and developing human capital to support business sustainability and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement operational and strategic plans for managing and operating hotels in alignment with the Group’s objectives.
• Prepare and monitor operational budgets, oversee financial performance, and control costs to improve profitability.
• Develop and implement revenue management, pricing, and occupancy strategies in coordination with relevant departments to maximize returns.
• Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure services are delivered in line with quality standards and targeted guest experience expectations.
• Directly supervise hotel managers, evaluate their performance, and provide the necessary guidance and support to improve operational efficiency.
• Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyze operational results, and recommend corrective and improvement actions.
• Develop and implement employee training and development programs, succession plans, and initiatives to enhance talent retention.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety policies, food safety standards, and security requirements across all hotel facilities.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and coordinate with relevant parties to maintain assets and facilities and ensure operational readiness.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, address complaints, and continuously improve service quality and enhance the guest experience.
• Prepare and submit periodic operational and financial reports to executive management, including performance indicators, challenges, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with supporting departments, including Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, and Marketing, to ensure operational integration and achievement of Group objectives.
• Perform any other duties related to the nature of the role as assigned by executive management.
Required Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
• A postgraduate qualification in Hospitality Management or Executive Management is considered an added advantage.
Experience
• Minimum of 8–10 years of professional experience in the hospitality and hotel management sector, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership position.
• Experience in managing commercial hotels or multiple hotel properties is preferred.
• Practical experience in the hospitality sector within North African countries is considered an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to manage teams across multiple locations.
• Advanced knowledge of hotel operations management, revenue management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Understanding hospitality quality standards, occupational health and safety, and food safety requirements.
• Strong financial analysis, planning, and reporting skills.
• Ability to make decisions, manage crises, and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in using Property Management Systems (PMS) and relevant technology platforms.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English.

Project Management Office (PMO) Director / Senior Engineering Manager
Job Description
The Project Management Office (PMO) Director position is within the Durwa Construction & Real Estate Investment Company, a subsidiary of Durwa Holding Group.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and leading the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring the implementation of best practices in project management and standardizing project management methodologies across all construction and real estate projects. The role aims to enhance planning and execution efficiency, strengthen accountability, manage risks, and ensure projects are delivered within approved quality standards, budgets, and timelines, in support of the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish and lead the Project Management Office (PMO) and develop the required project management methodologies across the company.
• Oversee multiple concurrent construction and real estate development projects, ensuring achievement of objectives related to quality, schedule, and cost.
• Develop and standardize project management policies, procedures, workflows, and documentation processes, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Define roles, responsibilities, and authorities across departments and project teams using industry best practices to ensure accountability and minimize overlap.
• Continuously monitor project performance, analyze risks and challenges, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project delivery.
• Build and manage a high-performing team of engineers, project managers, and site managers while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Prepare periodic reports for executive management, including key performance indicators (KPIs), project progress, risks, and recommendations to support decision-making.

Required Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Experience
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction project management or real estate development within Libya.
• At least 3 years of experience leading teams or managing a Project Management Office (PMO).
• Proven experience in establishing and developing PMOs and managing project risks.
Skills and Competencies
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Professional fluency in both Arabic and English (mandatory).
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and make effective decisions.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills in planning, KPI development, executive reporting, process improvement, and priority management to achieve results.
